Different Light setup for a studio portrait photoshoot.

One light with a reflector setup for a portrait headshot.

For the corporate photoshoots, I placed the softbox on the right side of the Camera with 45 degrees downwards to the object The softbox's middle was just above the head of the object.

On the left side of the Camera, I put one reflector 45 Degrees upwards so that the eye of the person and the other side of the person are sufficiently lighted.

I removed the ambient light so the camera could not see any other light but the flashlight. Without a flash, it is dark to the camera sensor.

Camera setting ISO 100-400, f/5.6 - 6.3, speed 200flash manual with flash power 6.

Three lights set up for a portrait photoshoot.

This is my go-to setup for portrait photoshoots. As a key light, I placed the Umbrella with a diffuser with Profoto A10 as a flash on the left side of the Camera with 45 degrees downwards to the object The umbrella's middle was just above the head of the object.  On the right side of the Camera, I place a fill light to resduce the shadow, a softbox with 45 degrees downwards to the object. This is a continuous light with less power and a white balance of 5600. Here I used Westcott LB60

On the left side of the subject, I put another softbox with Profoto A2 as a hair light and it also lit the background. Sometimes I use "click gel" to get a color mood.

I removed the ambient light so the camera could not see any other light but the flashlight. Without a flash, it is dark to the camera sensor.

Camera setting ISO 640, f/6.4, speed 200—flash manual with flash power 6 -8.

Pro tip. To get a eye catch light I use a silver reflector at the front of the subject.
